The POW-MIA Freedom Car is a joint effort between Team Johnson Motorsports, the Freedom Car drivers, and MyComputerCareer. By reaching an audience of more than 75 million motorsports fans across the country, we hope to, not only raise awareness but also educate the people of our great nation about those service members of the United States military who have either been Prisoners of War (POW) or are Missing in Action (MIA).
Since World War II, the United States has had over 130,000 servicemen, and women held prisoner while another 87,800 officially listed as Missing in Action. Through the POW-MIA Freedom Car, we hope that their suffering and ultimate sacrifice will not be forgotten by all future generations who are reaping the benefits of what our brave military men and women had to go through.
By making use on all the public events, racing mediums, and with the aid of sponsors and veteran supporters, we want to keep the topic of POW-MIA at the forefront of all our fellow Americans.
