Holly Springs, N.C. – Nov. 14, 2024 – MyComputerCareer, an online and in-campus technical college, today announced the appointment of education-industry veteran Brittany Woodall as director of military development. In the role, Woodall will draw from 12+ years of experience to oversee the day-to-day management of all military operations, including the recruitment, training, and direction of staff. She will also guide the school’s Military team through business development initiatives to help ensure optimal educational outcomes for students.
Prior to the role, Woodall, who joined MyComputerCareer in 2013, held a number of progressive leadership roles with the school, most recently as senior assistant director of admissions where she was responsible for meeting 10,000 service members and veterans annually to help them better understand the school’s offerings and the path to enrollment. She also developed, coached, and managed admissions team members to meet lofty goals centered around student success. Previously, Woodall was the school’s assistant director of admissions, senior military admissions director, and admissions director. She’s earned several awards during her lengthy tenure, including assistant director of admissions of the year twice, and the leadership award in 2022.
“We’ve been serving the military community since we opened our doors in 2007 and finding the right leader to guide this team was critical,” said Amy Onuska, president of MyComputerCareer. “Brittany is a high achiever who has allowed us to make a positive impact through meaningful connections with service members in her time with us, and her appointment allows us to continue our mission to change veterans’ lives through expert IT education.”
Since opening, MyComputerCareer has equipped 26,000 graduates with the skills and resources needed for success, resulting in alumni working for some of the top tech companies across the country. The school’s Cyber Warrior Program (CWP) for active duty and veteran service members is thriving behind live, instructor-led, training over either 12- or 24-weeks that lays the foundation for success in the cybersecurity industry. Behind the efforts of the CWP team, the program had a 212% uptick in enrollments from 2023-2024.
