MyComputerCareer is a nationally accredited IT training institution that provides comprehensive career training in Information Technology, cybersecurity, and network administration. We offer accelerated programs that combine interactive training including software simulations to solve real-world problems with industry-recognized certifications, preparing students for in-demand IT careers in as little as 3-10 months.

Yes. MyComputerCareer is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. We are also accredited by the Better Business Bureau in Indianapolis, Columbus, Raleigh, and Houston.

MyComputerCareer focuses exclusively on IT career training with accelerated programs (6-10 months vs. 2-4 years), industry-recognized certifications, interactive training including software simulations to solve real-world problems, lifetime career services, and flexible online and in-person options. Our curriculum is designed specifically for career changers and those entering IT without prior experience.

We have nine campuses located in:

Yes. We offer a free career evaluation to help you explore your potential in IT and determine which program aligns with your career goals. This assessment is part of the enrollment process and helps us customize your training plan.

  • Any prior education or work experience

Programs & Training

We offer five specialized IT training programs:

  1. Information Technology Security & Administration (ITSA) – No prerequisites required
  2. Cyber Warrior Program (CWP) – No prerequisites required, 12-week accelerated option
  3. Cyber Security Specialist (CSS) – Prerequisites apply
  4. Cyber Security Engineer (CSE) – Prerequisites apply
  5. Associate of Applied Science in Network Administration and Cyber Security – Prerequisites apply

The Information Technology Security & Administration (ITSA) program is our foundational IT training program that covers computer hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity basics. This program requires no prior IT experience and prepares students to earn industry-recognized certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, and EC-Council.

The Cyber Warrior Program (CWP) is an accelerated 12-week intensive program designed for rapid entry into IT and cybersecurity careers. Students can earn up to 4 highly sought-after CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+). Originally created for transitioning military members, this program is now open to all students. Prerequisites apply.

Note: CWP is not currently approved for federal financial aid funding under Title IV. Qualified students can, however, use GI Bill and other VA education benefits.

The Career Wellness Program (CWP) is an 8-week intensive program designed for individuals committed to launching an IT career in a structured, accelerated format. Prerequisites apply.

Program completion times vary:

  • Cyber Warrior Program (CWP): 12 weeks (daytime intensive) or 19-24 weeks (evening schedule)
  • ITSA, CSS, CSE: 6-10 months depending on schedule and pace
  • Associate Degree: 85-119 weeks (can be accelerated if you’ve completed other programs)


You can start earning certifications within the first few months and begin your IT career before completing the full program.

Yes. We offer live, online classes for all IT training with real-time instruction from experienced instructors. Online students receive the same interactive learning experience, certification prep, career services, and job placement assistance as on-campus students.

Yes. Our Associate of Applied Science in Network Administration and Cyber Security is available to students who have completed our ITSA, CSS, and CSE programs. The degree adds five general education courses to round out your IT training with communication, business, and professional skills. If you’ve completed our foundational programs, you may earn your Associate Degree at no additional cost.

Most training uses interactive learning experiences with software simulations to solve real-world problems.

All programs include interactive labs, real-world simulations, and practical projects.

Industry certifications validate your skills to employers and demonstrate you have specific knowledge in areas like networking, security, or system administration. Many IT job postings require or prefer specific certifications.

Yes. All certifications offered through MyComputerCareer are industry-recognized credentials from leading organizations like CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, and EC-Council. These certifications are valued by employers worldwide.

Most CompTIA certifications are valid for three years and can be renewed through continuing education. Microsoft and Cisco certifications have varying renewal requirements. We’ll teach you about maintenance requirements for each certification.

Certification exams are administered by the certifying organizations (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) at approved testing centers. We’ll prepare you thoroughly for these exams and guide you through the scheduling process.

Yes. We provide support and resources to help you prepare for certification exams, including retake opportunities. Your Student Success Coordinator can help you develop a study plan for retaking exams.

Yes. The Cyber Warrior Program certifications are DoDD 8140 compliant, meeting Department of Defense requirements for cybersecurity workforce development.

Learning Format & Schedule

Daytime and evening, online and on-campus schedules are available to accommodate the needs of full and part-time preferences, working professionals, and those with family and other personal commitments.

  • Daytime: typically between 8 am and 6 pm, 4 to 5 days a week
  • Evenings: typically between 5 and 11pm, 2 to 3 times a week
  • Start and end times vary by program and student time zones


All classes are live, instructor-led with video and offline self-study components.

MyComputerCareer may award transfer credits from other institutions or based on previously earned certifications following a competency evaluation. While no specific articulation agreements are currently in place, other institutions may award transfer credits for courses taken at MyComputerCareer at their discretion. All credits earned in any of MyComputerCareer’s accredited programs are directly transferrable into our Associate degree program.

Online Learning

Online students need:

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Computer with webcam and microphone
  • Quiet study space for live class participation
  • Ability to attend scheduled class times


Technical requirements will be provided during enrollment.

Absolutely. Online classes are live and interactive. You’ll have real-time access to your lead instructor during class, plus mentoring instructors who provide personalized tutoring and support both during and outside of class hours.

Yes. Online students receive the exact same lifetime career services as campus students, including resume help, interview coaching, job search assistance, and employer connections.

Financial Information

While pricing reflects the full tuition and fees associated with these programs, most students qualify for some form of financial aid and/or transfer credit such as those listed below. Speak to an Admissions or Financial Aid advisor to find out what resources are available to you and what your actual out-of-pocket costs may be. During enrollment for ITSA, CSS, CSE, and Associate Degree programs, students have the option to receive a laptop for an additional cost of $550. This is not included in the base program cost.

Yes. We offer flexible payment options and can work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget. Contact our Financial Aid team to discuss your options.

Military & Veterans

Yes. We are recognized as a Gold Military Friendly Top 10 Company and Top 10 Brand. We have specialized programs and services for active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.

Career Services

MyComputerCareer provides LIFETIME Career Services for all students and alumni who complete the ITSA, CWP, CSS, CSE, and Associate programs. This includes:

  • Job placement assistance
  • Resume development and optimization
  • Interview preparation and coaching
  • Career guidance and development
  • Ongoing professional networking opportunities

Yes. MyComputerCareer is required to maintain at least a 70% verified job placement rate for graduates in order to retain accreditation. MyComputerCareer currently meets or exceeds this benchmark for all major programs and cohorts. Our Career Services team works with employers to identify job opportunities and matches qualified graduates with positions in their field.

MyComputerCareer provides extensive career services and employer connections but cannot guarantee job placement. Our Career Services team actively works with industry employers across the country to assist students in their job search and career advancement. MyComputerCareer is required to maintain at least a 70% verified job placement rate for graduates in order to retain accreditation. MyComputerCareer currently meets or exceeds this benchmark for all major programs and cohorts.

We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized attention and effective learning. Specific class sizes vary by program and location.

Don’t worry – struggling is normal when learning new skills. We provide mentoring instructors specifically for personalized tutoring, plus additional study resources and support. Reach out to your instructors or Student Success Coordinator as soon as you need help.

Life happens, and we understand that. If you need to take a leave of absence, contact your Student Success Coordinator to discuss your options and develop a plan to resume your studies.

Course materials, including digital resources and textbooks, are typically included in your program cost. Specific materials will be confirmed during enrollment.
