Like many of our students, Joe Hinds first heard about MyComputerCareer on the radio. As his time in the military was coming to an end, Joe faced the daunting task of retiring from the military and transitioning to civilian life. He was 46, had a wealth of military experience, and needed help. So he came to MyComputerCareer and was immediately impressed with the professionalism. “Every one of [the instructors] was top notch,” he said.
Joe enrolled in our ITSA program and excelled as a student. “They had a very good way of teaching,” he said, “Taking something that can be extremely complex and a little unnerving at points, break it down and put it so almost anybody could understand it.” After about 10 months in our program, Joe was able to earn his certifications and accept a job making more than $68,000 per year.
Phil Smeby is an Iraq War veteran who heard about MyComputerCareer from a friend. He needed a way to take his military experience and apply it to a civilian life. “Veterans know what it’s like to be able to give everything plus more in order to have a successful mission,” he said. MyComputerCareer helped him take his military experience and build upon it to gain a successful career.
“I really felt like it was military training because of the efficiency,” he said. “If you’re looking for a school, especially one that you can use your GI Bill with, MyComputerCareer is the school that you want to go to.”
