According to a recent article in the Raleigh News and Observer, Openings for Information Technology (IT) jobs in North Carolina took a giant leap forward from July to August–up 14.9%. Citing a report from the NC Technology Assn. (NCTA), the number of IT job openings in the state during this period represents a 400% increase over the same period last year.
