HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. and MORRISVILLE, N.C.—Feb. 13, 2017—MyComputerCareer today announced it has renewed and expanded its annual sponsorship of Team Johnson Motorsports.

With the renewed and expanded title sponsorship from MyComputerCareer, Team Johnson Motorsports has added a second POW-MIA Freedom Car to its stable of Late Model Class cars that compete in regional NASCAR races throughout the South and Midwest states in the United States.

“The POW-MIA Freedom Cars will compete in close to 30 races in 2017, including nine straight days of racing during Daytona’s Speedweeks that start this week,” said Jack Johnson, Army Veteran and founder of Team Johnson Motorsports. “Our POW-MIA Freedom Cars will feature two drivers, 15-year-old Ryan Millington (driving #76), who will be in contention for the points championship at Hickory, N.C., and Jerick Johnson (driving #76J), 5-time distinguished guest at the American Legion National Convention and manager of Team Johnson Motorsports.”

The POW-MIA Freedom Car was launched in 2010 by Team Johnson Motorsports as a way to support all current (and former) members of the U.S. military (and their families and loved ones), but especially to honor American POWs or those still Missing-In-Action. Over 87,800 American warfighters are still officially listed as MIA, while over 130,000 Americans have been held as POWs since World War II.

“The Freedom Car is part of a joint effort to raise awareness for the cause of Prisoners of War and Missing in Action service members of the United States military,” said Tony Galati, Founder and CEO of MyComputerCareer. “Team Johnson Motorsports, the Freedom Car drivers, and MyComputerCareer hope to inspire and educate others about the great service and sacrifice provided by all servicemen and servicewomen, but especially by Prisoners-of-War and the Missing-in-Action.”
