The GI Bill changed Tony Galati’s life. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Leonard, Tony’s father, enrolled at North Carolina State University. Leonard didn’t know it at the time, but that decision changed the trajectory of the Galati family for generations. It showed Tony and his siblings the dedication and drive it takes to achieve an education.
His dad’s drive to create a better life for his family is one of the main reasons Tony founded MyComputerCareer in 2007. He saw that career changers needed fast, efficient training programs to create a better life. It’s a model that is ideal for helping service members transition quickly and effectively from military service to civilian life. Since MyComputerCareer opened our doors, we have worked with hundreds of Veterans and Military Service members to help advance in their civilian careers–an accomplishment that Tony claims as one of his proudest.
Military Program Directors
Bradley Allbritton can say that joining the U.S. Military changed his life. He joined the Army at eighteen years old as an Infantryman and immediately knew he’d found his calling. He served both overseas and domestic tours and earned his Expert Infantryman Badge much earlier than most of his peers. He considers that and his time in Ranger School his two most memorable achievements aside from the privilege of leading Soldiers. When he transitioned in 2015, he joined the ranks of the United Service Organizations (USO) as they launched their Transition 360 Alliance/Rally Point 6 program. While serving as a case manager, Bradley was able to see first-hand just how important certifications are in securing civilian job opportunities in the IT industry. He assisted hundreds of transitioning military members in their quest for their next successful career. Today he serves as a Military Program Director for MyComputerCareer where he continues to advocate for every Veteran with the desire to succeed in IT.
